BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. Iran’s non-oil exports to Türkiye rose by 14.4 percent in value and 23.4 percent in volume in the first half of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through September 22, 2025), compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) indicates that exports to Türkiye reached about $2.74 billion, totaling around 5.05 million tons. In the same period of the previous year, exports amounted to roughly $2.39 billion and 4.09 million tons.
Iran predominantly engaged in the exportation of agrarian
commodities, alimentary products, petrochemical derivatives, as
well as industrial and mineral resources to Türkiye.
In the same semi-annual timeframe, the bilateral trade flux between
Iran and Türkiye reached an estimated $7.12 billion, translating to
roughly 8.62 million tons of commodities. This reflects a 5.1
percent contraction in monetary value, juxtaposed with a 13.9
percent escalation in physical volume on a year-over-year
basis.
Furthermore, IRICA data shows that Iran's total non-oil exports during the six months amounted to $25.9 billion, totaling 75 million tons. This represents a small decrease in value but a 6 percent increase in volume compared to the previous year.
