A delegation of 23 large and leading enterprises of the Czech Republic offered Uzbekistan to establish cooperation in the field of education and nanotechnologies, energy, industry and engineering, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

The Uzbek side offered Czech partners to participate in the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials and the production of polymer products.

Uzbek capital of Tashkent hosted Uzbek-Czech Business Forum during the visit of the delegation of the Czech Republic headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade Marta Novakova to Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan to discuss potential areas of cooperation and study project proposals.

Representatives of Czech companies presented information about their activities and possible areas of cooperation.

The parties discussed issues of further expansion of ties in trade, the fuel and energy complex, the banking and financial system of agriculture and water management, transport and transport communications, engineering, tourism, etc.

The participation of Czech companies in the privatization process and the creation of joint ventures was discussed as well.

Following the business forum, a cooperation exchange was organized, where participants were able to discuss concrete steps to implement joint projects.
