BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8. The non-oil trade turnover between Iran and Türkiye increased by 7.4 percent in value and 30.7 percent in volume, during the first 3 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, Trend reports.
As indicated in the statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Türkiye for 3 months amounted to 4.93 million tons worth $3.23 billion.
Whereas, in the same period of last Iranian year, the non-oil trade turnover stood at 3.77 million tons worth $3 billion.
During 3 months, agricultural and food products, petrochemical products, industrial and mining products, various types of equipment, raw materials, cloth, etc. were the main goods traded between the two countries.
In the 3rd month of the current Iranian year alone (May 22 through June 21, 2023), Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Türkiye was 2.5 million tons worth approximately $1.49 billion.
Overall, Iran's non-oil trade turnover amounted to 44.1 million tons worth $26.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.
