SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) exported 1.36 million tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in January-June 2013 compared to 1.3 million tons of oil in January-June 2012, SOCAR said on Tuesday.
SOCAR exported about 242,320 tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in June compared to 80,800 tons of oil in June 2012.
SOCAR exported 2.74 million tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in 2012 compared to 2.65 million tons of oil in 2011.
Oil is delivered to Supsa via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) is the pipeline's operator.
