The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 1.525 million metric tons of oil from Georgia's Supsa port in Jan.-June 2015, which is 5 percent more than in the same period of 2014, SOCAR said July 1.
SOCAR exported 339,020 metric tons of oil from Supsa in June, compared to 242,040 metric tons in the same month of 2014.
The State Oil Company exported nearly 2.96 million metric tons of oil from Georgia's Supsa port in 2014, compared to around 2.73 million metric tons in 2013.
Oil is delivered to Supsa port via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline operated by Azerbaijan International Operating Company.
