BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Azerbaijan manufactured petroleum products with a total value of two billion manat ($1.18 billion) from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that
this figure took a nosedive of 5.2 percent year on year.
When it comes to petroleum products, the manufacturing of white oil
took a slight dip of 0.3 percent, while gasoil (diesel fuel) saw a
more significant drop of 4.3 percent. Petroleum bitumen fell by 7.1
percent, gasoline took a hit of 10.7 percent, petroleum coke
plummeted by 12 percent, and lubricants took the biggest hit,
nosediving by 45.8 percent.
