BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 24. Kapital Bank took first place in terms of expenditures among Azerbaijani banks in the first half of 2024, Trend reports.
Based on the financial report, the volume of the bank's expenses for the reporting period amounted to 454 million manat ($267 million).
The second position in the ranking was taken by the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), with total expenditures of 319.6 million manat ($188 million).
PASHA Bank ranked third with 230.4 million manat ($135.5 million); UniBank ranked fourth with 130.5 million manat ($76.7 million); and Bank Respublika took the fifth position with 95.8 million manat ($56.3 million).
The total expenditures of the top three banks amount to one billion manat ($590 million), or 63.02 percent of the total expenditures of 10 banks in Azerbaijan (1.59 billion manat or $940 million total expenditures of all banks in the country) (1.9 billion manat or $1 billion).
