BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. Trading Economics analysts predict inflation in Azerbaijan at the level of 1.3 percent in the third quarter of 2024, Trend reports.
Trading Economics forecasts show that inflation in the reporting period is expected to be at three percent, in the first quarter of 2025 - 4.5 percent, and in the second quarter - 4.2 percent.
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy estimates annual inflation at 5.3 percent in 2024, the Finance Ministry - 2.7 percent, whereas the UN predicts it to be at 5.9 percent this year.
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan expects inflation in the base scenario to be at 5.4 percent in 2024 and 5.5 percent in 2025.
The International Monetary Fund predicts that average annual
inflation in Azerbaijan will decline to 4.7 percent this year,
while the World Bank believes that average annual inflation in
Azerbaijan will amount to 5.8 percent by 2024.
The Dutch ING Group anticipates Azerbaijan's average annual
inflation rate to be at 1.2 percent this year.
