The number of innovative companies in the world has grown by 10 percent from 2005 to 2021, analysts from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) said, Trend reports referring to a source in BCG.
Apple ranked first according to the 2021 Most Innovative Companies rating.
"The top five are held by companies such as Alphabet (owned by Google), Amazon, Microsoft, and Tesla. Owing to its innovative successes Tesla has upgraded by 6 positions compared to the same period of last year," the group’s report noted.
BCG analysts pointed out that this year the number of companies that made innovation their top priority has increased by 10 percent.
Samsung, IBM, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Sony also entered the list of the most innovative companies of 2021, while the last five were taken by companies such as Comcast, GE, Roche, AstraZeneca, and Bayer.
For the first time, Abbot Labs (29th), Moderna (42nd), Mitsubishi (45th), Comcast (46th), and AstraZeneca (49th) were included in this list.
