Iran discloses export volume of non-oil products from Khorramshahr customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. The export of non-oil products from Khorramshahr Customs of Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran amounted to 364,000 tons worth about $44.7 million during 3 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 2024), Director General of Iran's Khorramshahr Customs office Gholamreza Nikraftar said, Trend reports.

According to him, for 3 months mainly rebar, cement, food products, and many other things were exported through Khorramshahr customs.

Nikraftar noted that the products were mainly exported to Iraq, Kuwait, and UAE.

The official added that 42,400 tons of products worth $193 million were imported to the country through Khorramshahr customs during 3 months. Mainly fabric, car tires and spare parts, machinery, and computer equipment were imported to the country through Khorramshahr customs.

He stated that the products are mainly imported from UAE, Türkiye, India, and Taiwan.

To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, Iran exported 38 million tons of non-oil products worth $13.5 billion during the first 3 months of the current Iranian year. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 7.6 percent in value and 5.6 percent in weight compared to the same month of last year.
