BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. Iran’s Persian Gulf Star Oil Company (PGSOC) is set to boost its gasoline production by 7 percent daily, the Managing Director of the company, Mohammad-Ali Dadvar, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to Dadvar, currently, the Persian Gulf Star Oil Company produces 42 million liters of gasoline daily.
Dadvard stated that by April (2025), this number is expected to rise to 45 million liters per day.
The official also pointed out that the Persian Gulf Star Oil Company is one of the greatest achievements of Iran since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. In the early years of the company's operations, the factory's spare parts were provided by foreign companies. Today, however, all equipment is sourced locally.
"In August of the previous year, gasoline production in Iran was at 97 million liters per day, but it has since increased to 110 million liters daily," he said.
Iran’s 10 oil refineries process 2.2 million barrels of crude oil and gas condensate daily, with the country producing an average of 115 million liters of gasoline per day.
