BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 8. Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan rose by 15.5 percent in value and 50.2 percent in weight in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Customs Administration indicates that the country exported 488,000 tons of non-oil products to Tajikistan, worth around $303 million.
Conversely, in the previous year, Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan amounted to about 325,000 tons worth $262 million.
The statistics further reveal that during this period, Iran’s main exports to Tajikistan included petrochemical products, steel products, agricultural and food products, among others.
The total non-oil trade volume between Iran and Tajikistan for the past Iranian year reached $393 million, involving around 528,000 tons of goods. This represents a 16 percent increase in value and a nearly 48.9 percent increase in weight compared to the previous year.
According to data, Iran's overall non-oil exports for the year amounted to over 136 million tons, valued at $49.3 billion, which showed a decrease of 8.87 percent in value but a slight increase of 9.82 percent in weight compared to the previous year.
