The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Sept. 1:
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 19,824 tons of various chemicals and polymers.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 10,000 tons of iron sponge, 25,000 tons of iron beam, 34,020 tons of rebar basket and 4,000 tons of cathode copper.
Agriculture floor: Offers 7,200 tons of wheat, 350 tons of sugar and 1,000 kilograms of saffron as well as 40,000 day-old chickens.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 96 tons of aniline.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
