An Iranian Air Defense Commander Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili referred to claims of certain states that no system is able to locate their radar-evading planes and said, "we can intercept these aircrafts with systems which remain undiscovered", ISNA reports.
"Staff Operations on Air Attack Protection Hatamul-Anbiya is currently developing a project to produce systems detecting radar-evading planes," Esmaili said. "The project has been implemented by 80 percent," he added.
Radar-evading planes, created by "Stealth" technology, has the ability to reduce the visibility of the visual, sound, infrared and radio frequency spectrum. This aircraft with high precision-strike systems can enter the high-risk areas and is equipped with laser-guidance.
Esmaili says that radar-evading planes are not able to detect the system invented by Iran.
In August of 2010, Deputy Commander of Iranian Air Defence, Brigadier General Mohammad Hassan Mansurian said that Iran fully meets its needs for ground-based radar systems.
