BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Azerbaijan has unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions on Armenia.
This was outlined in a joint statement by the United States, Armenia and Azerbaijan marking the first anniversary of the White House Peace Summit.
“In the spirit of the White House peace summit, Azerbaijan has unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions with respect to Armenia,” the statement said.
It noted that nearly 60,000 tons of goods had been transported to and from Armenia through Azerbaijani territory over the past year.
Azerbaijan also supplied Armenia with 20,000 tons of oil products.
“The two countries continue to work to increase bilateral trade,” the statement said.
