BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 15. A total of 6,682 new tax registrants were documented in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during the preceding fiscal year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Tax Service shows that a total of 6,386 are classified as individual entities, while 296 comprise legal entities and various organizational structures. The cohort of registered taxpayers experienced a growth trajectory of 6.7 percent relative to the fiscal year 2023.
In the previous fiscal cycle, a substantial 83 percent of commercial entities underwent electronic registration protocols, whereas a mere 17 percent adhered to traditional paper-based application methodologies.
