ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 17. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov and discussed key projects to be completed by 2025, Trend reports.

In the course of the meeting, Nurlan Zhakupov presented a report to the President, stating that the company's average annual revenue growth from 2021 to 2024 was 13 percent. He also mentioned that the company's investment portfolio currently includes 130 projects worth over $100 billion.

"In 2025, it is planned to complete 7 major investment projects, including the construction of second tracks on the Dostyk-Moyinty section, a railway bypass line around Almaty, and a container hub based at the Aktau port," Nurlan Jakupov said.

He underscored that contracts worth 1.1 trillion tenge (approximately $2.2 billion) have been signed, and the number of offtake contracts has increased tenfold compared to 2023.

President Tokayev highlighted the importance of continuing work to improve the efficiency and increase the value of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" assets.

Special attention has been given to priority infrastructure projects, the successful implementation of which is directly linked to the future of the national economy.

JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" is the sovereign wealth fund of Kazakhstan's national wealth, established to effectively manage state assets, investments, and enterprises. It was founded in 2008 to enhance the efficiency of the public sector of the economy and improve asset management.
