BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Unemployment insurance contribution revenues amounted to 1.5 million manat ($880,000) in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service shows that this figure increased by 8.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
During this timeframe, the fiscal inflow from mandatory health insurance premiums reached 9.9 million manat ($5.8 million), rising by five percent year on year.
To note, last year, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, revenues from unemployment insurance contributions increased by 11.4 percent compared to 2023, exceeding 4.4 million manat ($2.6 million). During the same period, revenues from compulsory health insurance contributions grew by 18.9 percent, reaching nearly 29 million manat ($17 million).
