ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 26. The Ashgabat city administration has signed a $60 million contract with Chinese company Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. for the delivery of specialized municipal machinery, vehicles, and equipment aimed at enhancing the capital’s infrastructure and improving public services, Trend reports.
A research team from Zoomlion has already arrived in Ashgabat to prepare for the project’s implementation. Experts conducted rigorous testing of the equipment under local conditions, including high temperatures and sandstorms.
Under the agreement, Infore Enviro, a member company of the Zoomlion group, will supply Ashgabat with modern solutions for street cleaning, waste removal, and urban infrastructure maintenance. The contract also includes the establishment of a 24-hour service center in Ashgabat to ensure prompt and efficient support.
Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer specializing in pollution control equipment, including machinery for environmental protection, construction waste disposal, household garbage management, and solid municipal waste handling. The company also produces a range of specialized vehicles through its heavy industry division.
