BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. Mandatory state social insurance revenues in Azerbaijan under the conditions of the "whitening" of the number of salaried workers and the wage fund totaled nearly 3.14 billion manat ($1.86 billion) from January through June 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tax Service shows that revenues from this source grew by 13.7 percent, or more than 378.1 million manat ($223 million), compared to the same period in 2024. Revenues from non-budgetary organizations under the source rose by 13.3 percent year-on-year, totaling over 2.04 billion manat ($1.2 billion).
The revenue streams from unemployment insurance premiums
experienced an uptick of 11.7 percent relative to the corresponding
timeframe of the previous fiscal year, culminating in an aggregate
exceeding 111.5 million manat (equivalent to $65.8 million). Fiscal
inflows from non-budgetary entities within the specified source
experienced an uptick of 11.8 percent, culminating in an
approximate total of 83.3 million manat ($49.1 million).
Compulsory health insurance revenue streams experienced a
year-on-year escalation of 11.7 percent, culminating in an
impressive total exceeding 544 million manat ($320.9 million).
Fiscal inflows from non-budgetary entities within the specified
source experienced an uptick of 10.4 percent, culminating in a
total exceeding 376.3 million manat (equivalent to $221
million).
