TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 23. Of the total foreign trade turnover (WTO) volume, exports amounted to $16,886.7 million dollars in January–April 2025, marking a 29.1 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee indicates that Russia remained Uzbekistan’s top export partner, accounting for $2.05 billion worth of goods, or 12.1 percent of total exports.
China followed with $906.1 million (5.4 percent), while Kazakhstan ranked third with $676.4 million (4.0 percent). Other key partners included Afghanistan ($603.7 million), Türkiye ($507.8 million), and France ($481.3 million).
Additional notable export destinations were the United Arab Emirates ($300.8 million), the Kyrgyz Republic ($266.2 million), Tajikistan ($242.2 million), and Pakistan ($173.7 million). Together, these top ten partners accounted for 36.8 percent of Uzbekistan’s total exports during this period.
Uzbekistan’s exported goods mainly consisted of manufactured products (10.9 percent), food and live animals (7.2 percent), chemicals and related products (5.8 percent), and various finished products (4.3 percent).
