BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1. Exports through the customs of Iran’s Qom Province reached $97.6 million, totaling 84,200 tons during the first six months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through September 22, 2025), Esfandiyar Derikvandi, head of Qom Province Customs, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to Derikvandi, the value of exports through Qom customs rose 10 percent compared with the same period last year(from March 20 through September 21, 2024). He noted that products manufactured in the province’s industrial enterprises are of high quality, allowing them to compete in international markets.
The official added that with increased industrial activity in Qom, maximum support is being provided to producers and exporters. The province hosts 9 industrial parks, employing over 50,000 workers across nearly 2,000 enterprises.
Meanwhile, non-oil exports across Iran during the same period totaled $25.9 billion and 75 million tons, showing a slight increase in value and a 6 percent rise in volume compared with last year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), according to the Iranian Customs Administration.
