BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. The total revenue of Iran Khodro Automotive Company (IKCO) rose by 52 percent during the first half of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through September 22, 2025) compared to the same period last year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024).
The data obtained by Trend from IKCO shows that this figure amounted to 12.2 trillion rials (approximately $21.6 million).
In the reporting timeframe, for the first time over the past seven years, the production of various types of cars by the company exceeded 263,000 units.
Meanwhile, the production of various types of cars in the first six months exceeded the annual production in the past three years.
The activities of IKCO have been determined by the private sector since February, resulting in the country's largest car manufacturer's revenue generation against its total loss worth 21.2 trillion rials (about $37.7 million) during the first six months of last year.
Based on the Codal report, in the first six months of the current Iranian year, the three main Iranian car companies (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) made 404,000 (404,461) cars. Car production dropped by 12 percent compared to the same period last year.
