Azgranata, an Azerbaijani company engaged in the manufacture of alcoholic and nonalcoholic products, will expand production by the end of 2019, a source in the company told Trend.
The company manufactures several varieties of wine products, including three types of non-alcoholic wines, according to the source.
"We plan to increase production volumes, including through the introduction of new grape varieties that we grow on our plantations," the source noted. "There is a great demand for our products in the domestic market, and sales increase every year. Since early 2019, the sales increased by 15-20 percent compared to the reported period last year, and by 25 percent compared to 2017."
The company noted that its plans include an increase in exports.
"We plan to increase the volume of exports of wine products to Russia, due to the high demand in this market. Mainly, we plan to increase the supply of dry vintage wines," the source said.
The company has vineyards with an area of about 500 hectares, located in the Shamakhi district, at an altitude of 710 meters above sea level, and pomegranate gardens in the Aghsu district.
A processing plant of the company is also located in Aghsu.
The company’s products are exported to more than 30 countries.
