Azerbaijani Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov has signed a decree on the creation of the State Labor Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, Trend reports citing the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In accordance with the decree, the fund will provide logistical support to events on labor protection, as well as finance research in this area, train specialists and develop relevant norms, standards and rules.
The fund will attract financing in the form of voluntary contributions from insurance companies that provide compulsory insurance against accidents, as well as from facilities and the population.
