The Plant of Sandwich Panels of Azerbaijani Sumgayit Technologies Park (STP), will expand the range of industrial products in 2020, a source in the plant told Trend.
According to the source, STP introduced to the market a new type of product - panels with mineral wool insulation in 2019.
“This type of product is innovative. The plant is the only manufacturer of this model of panels in Azerbaijan. In 2020, it is planned to increase the assortment of a new type of product through the introduction of the most optimized technologies, which will differ in parameters and technical and economic indicators,” the source said.
“Currently, STP is focused on selling sandwich panels exclusively in the local market. But we are also considering and exploring opportunities for exporting sandwich panels to the Commonwealth Independent States (CIS),” the source added.
The plant is considering the prospect of creating a joint production of these products with one of the world's leading brands.
Currently, STP residents are 12 plants and more than 30 production sites equipped with the latest technological equipment of European and Japanese production, employing 2,000 people.
All plants of the STP are equipped with laboratories of European production and are accredited in accordance with the standards of AZS ISO / IEC 17025-2009.
The manufactured products have appropriate certificates. STP also applies the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
The plant is equipped with modern German-made equipment.
