Iran's unemployment rate has declined during the second half of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), Trend reports citing IRNA.
Statistics show that the unemployment rate was 8.9 percent in the autumn of 2021 and had a 0.5-percent decline compared to the same period of 2020.
The job creation for those aged 15 and over has increased to 23.5 million jobs during the second half of the current year with a 0.5-percent rise.
Reportedly, the situation with employment has improved following Iran's control over the COVID-19 spread and general vaccination of the population.
The government has lifted previous restrictions and many factories and services are currently active.
