Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 2.12 million tons of oil from Georgia’s Supsa Port in January-October 2016 as compared to 2.37 million tons in the same period of 2015, read a message posted on SOCAR website Nov. 1.
The company exported 267,640 tons of oil from Supsa in October 2016.
SOCAR exported around 2.79 million tons of oil from this port in 2015 as compared to nearly 2.96 million tons in 2014.
Oil is delivered to Supsa via the Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
