Russia’s Novorossiysk international sea trade port transshipped 74.75 million tons of oil in 2017 as compared to 81.12 million tons in 2016, says a message posted on the port’s website.
The Novorossiysk port transshipped 30.3 million tons of oil products during the period as compared to 31.69 million tons transshipped in 2016.
The port transshipped 143.52 million tons of various cargoes in 2017 as compared to 146.91 million tons in 2016.
Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR also ships its oil via the Novorossiysk port. SOCAR's oil is delivered to the port via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline.
