Gulf Drilling Azerbaijan has acquired new equipment, a source in the country's oil and gas market told Trend.
“Negotiations on the acquisition of THOR-180 CARRIER equipment have already been completed. Currently, the final tests are carried out on this equipment,” the source said.
According to the source, THOR-180 CARRIER will be delivered to Azerbaijan in the near future.
Gulf Drilling Azerbaijan, established in 2007, is a subsidiary of Gulf Drilling Supply FZE (UAE). The Azerbaijani branch of the company is engaged in drilling vertical and directional wells for the production of oil, gas and water, as well as sidetracking and overhauling of wells.
