Wind gusts negatively affect the operation of the mobile communication network, Chief Executive Officer of Bakcell LLC Nikolai Beckers said at a press conference in Baku Oct. 11.
According to him, both fiber-optic and wireless communication lines are used for signal delivery.
Beckers did not rule out the availability of zones with low reception of mobile signal, or even its absence. He added that in connection with this, this year the company’s efforts are aimed at eliminating these problems by expanding 3G coverage.
Bakcell uses equipment of high quality in the construction and expansion of the network, said the executive director adding that the company has already achieved high network coverage level.
