An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the MPV scale has been recorded near Almaty city this afternoon, Trend reports citing Kazinform.
The epicenter of the quake was situated in the territory of China, 380 km northeast of Almaty city. The earthquake hit at 13:40 pm Almaty time, at a depth of 5 km. No damages or casualties have been reported right after.
