BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 5. The number of passenger aircraft flying from Iranian airports increased by 10 percent during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).
The data obtained by Trend from the country's airport company statistics show that the number of flights organized through Iranian airports during the six months amounted to 161,000 (161,079).
The statistics indicate that in the same period last year, the number of passenger aircraft flying via Iranian airports amounted to about 146,000 (145,795).
