BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22.​ The number of passenger planes operating international flights through Iran's airports grew by 8 percent during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025) compared to the same period last year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024).

Data obtained by Trend from the Iran Airports Company shows that 313,000 passenger planes operated international flights via the airports in the reporting period, against 289,000 planes during the last Iranian year.
