Some 8,341 cars were transported from the Turkish Tuzla port to the Italian Trieste port, while 7,390 cars were in the opposite direction in January 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
Thus, 15,731 cars were transshipped between the two ports in January 2022. Some 170,811 cars were transported through the Turkish ports during the reporting period.
About 60,783 cars were transported to the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships during the reporting period. Around 2.09 million cars were transported through the Turkish ports in 2021.
Some 790,274 cars were transported to the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships during the reporting period. About 1.3 million cars were shipped from the Turkish ports via Ro-Ro ships in 2021.
