BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. The realized price of Azerbaijani oil averaged $94.5, and the price of exported Azerbaijani gas stood at $313 per 1,000 cubic meters, Director of the Statistics Department at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Samir Nasirov, said at a briefing dedicated to the release of balance of payments data today, Trend's correspondent reports from the event.
According to Nasirov, the realized price of oil grew by 33% compared to the same period last year. “The price of exported Azerbaijani gas stood at $313 per 1,000 cubic meters,” he added.
According to data from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy, 13.3 million tons of oil, including condensate, were produced in the country from January through June 2026. Of the total, 7.9 million tons came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) field, 1.7 million tons from Shah Deniz, and 0.3 million tons from Absheron. SOCAR’s oil and condensate production amounted to 3.4 million tons.
During the reporting period, 10.5 million tons of oil, including condensate, were exported from Azerbaijan. Of this amount, 9.5 million tons accounted for the consortium, 0.7 million tons for SOCAR, and 0.3 million tons for JOCAP.
In the first six months of 2026, average daily crude oil production amounted to 61,000 tons (449,000 barrels), while condensate production stood at 12,000 tons (103,000 barrels). Overall average daily oil production amounted to 73,000 tons, or 552,000 barrels.
In addition, 25.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan from January through June 2026. Of this volume, 7.3 billion cubic meters came from ACG, 13.7 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz, 0.8 billion cubic meters from Absheron, and 3.6 billion cubic meters from SOCAR.
Natural gas exports during the period amounted to 12.7 billion cubic meters. Of this, 5.9 billion cubic meters were exported to Europe, 4.9 billion cubic meters to Türkiye, including 3 billion cubic meters via TANAP, 1.2 billion cubic meters to Georgia, and 0.7 billion cubic meters to Syria.
