BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. The number of apartments commissioned in Azerbaijan from January through June 2025 was 12,955.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that this figure grew by up to 2.5 times compared to the same period last year (5,204).
In the first six months of this year, 4,379 apartments were commissioned in the capital against 2,216 in the same period of 2024.

The highest indicator of apartment commissioning in Azerbaijan was recorded in 2019, with 87,371 apartments countrywide, and 74,665 in Baku.
The committee stated that the sharp increase recorded was due to the permission to operate some apartment buildings built in previous years and not permitted for operation for certain reasons, in accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan "On simplification of permits for operation of some apartment buildings".
