ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 10. KazMunayGas-Aero, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan’s national oil company, has entered into a cooperation agreement with Italian NextChem on the development of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and other eco-friendly energy solutions, Trend reports.
According to the company, KazMunayGas-Aero and NextChem will work together on producing SAF, as well as low-carbon hydrogen through innovative carbon capture technologies. The collaboration also aims to integrate circular economy practices, which focus on recycling, reusing, and reducing waste in production processes, further minimizing environmental impact.
