BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. Azerbaijan produced 4,034 tons of tobacco in the period from January through October of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that tobacco production increased by 2,647 tons, or 2.9 times, compared to the same period last year.
A total of 1,387 tons of tobacco was produced from January through October last year.
The stocks of ready products as of November 1 amounted to 808.5 tons.
The stocks of ready products increased by 219.6 tons, or more than 1.4 times compared to the same period of the previous year. For the same period of the previous year, the stocks of finished products amounted to 588.9 tons.
