BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. Azerbaijan's imports of tobacco and tobacco products saw a slight decline of 0.98 percent in 2024 compared to 2023, reaching a total of $118.7 million.
Data obtained by Trend from the country’s State Customs Committee indicates that tobacco and its products made up a mere 0.56 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports in 2024.
Moreover, Azerbaijan's imports of tobacco and tobacco products saw a significant leap of 23.54 percent in 2023 compared to the previous year, reaching a hefty sum of $119.9 million.
