ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 23. In the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan, a plant for the production of feed meal with a capacity of 120,000 tons per year will be launched, Trend reports via the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to information from the ministry, a new investment
project is being implemented in the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan
for the production of feed meal for cattle and small ruminants.
Wheat grain, barley, and corn will be used as raw materials.
“The design capacity of the new plant will be 120,000 tons of
finished products per year, which will significantly increase the
production volumes of high-quality feed in the region and reduce
dependence on imported compound feed,” the statement said.
With the enterprise’s launch, the Zhambyl region’s animal
husbandry sector is likely to develop further, new jobs will be
created, and the agro-industrial complex’s production strength will
be enhanced.
The cost of the project is 980 million tenge (approximately $1.86
million). The commissioning of the production line is planned for
early March 2026.
