The first stage worth 6.6 billion tenge of construction of a polyethylene recycling factory has begun in 1Q2019 in the "Badam" industrial zone in Kazakhstan’s Turkestan region, Trend reports via local InBusiness news portal.
ABF INVEST is realizing the project. By 2025 up to 35 percent of solid household waste will be recycled in the region.
Furthermore, the volume of industrial products is to increase to 19.4 million tenge, as well as the index of actual volume is to increase to 105.5 percent compared to the previous year.
The recycling industry is planned to manufacture 17.9 billion tenge worth of products.
Within the framework of the industrial-innovative development program and the regional entrepreneurship development map, the second stage of realization of Green Technolody Insdustries investment project is to begin. The project worth 4.6 billion tenge is to do with polyethylene recycling and the synthetic winterizer manufacture.
In 2019 the volume of agricultural products is also to increase up to 40.157 billion tenge, the area of developed land is to reach 65,100 ha, and some 2,500 ha is to be brought into circulation. The territory of greenhouses is to be expanded by 20 ha.
