ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 10. Turkmenistan's State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SCRMET) made several deals on April 9, Trend reports.

Among the transactions was the purchase of float sheet glass, valued at approximately 49.6 million Turkmen manat ($14 million).

Moreover, Turkmen entrepreneurs also acquired flannel fabric for about 1.05 million manat ($300,000).

Representatives from the business communities of China and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene and liquefied gas for a total of $1.83 million.

Last week, 16 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Founded in 1994, SCRMET is a key platform in the country’s economy, overseeing export-import activities and ensuring transparent transactions. It supports trade in sectors such as petrochemicals, agriculture, textiles, and construction materials, while boosting international partnerships and attracting foreign investment.
