BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The average price of 1 square meter of an apartment in Tehran city was 437 million rials (about $10,410) for the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the statistics, the price of apartments per square meter increased by 1.2 percent compared to the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22, 2022). So, the average price of 1 square meter of an apartment in Tehran city was 432 million rials (about $10,289) in the 6th month.
In addition, the average price of 1 square meter of an apartment in the 7th month increased by 38.2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
"The most expensive price for apartments between 22 districts of Tehran was registered in the 1st district over the sixth month. Thus, the price of apartments per square meter in the district amounted to 883 million rials (about $21,030). The cheapest apartment prices in the 7th month were registered in the 18th district," said the report.
"So, the price of apartments per square meter in this district was about 213 million rials (about $5,071)," the statistics said.
