BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 2. Under Azerbaijan's lease-to-own housing program, 5,873 citizens have improved their living conditions by securing apartments with the option to purchase, the press service of the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) told Trend.
"To date, the Fund has provided guarantees and subsidies for business loans totaling 511.773 million manats. As of November 4, the MCGF has issued mortgage loans to 52,029 borrowers, totaling 3.273 billion manats," the Fund’s press service said.
The Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund was established by decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2017 through the reorganization and merger of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund OJSC and the Azerbaijan Credit Guarantee Fund OJSC.
