BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. Information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth 3.2 billion manat ($1.8 billion) from January through December 2023, Trend reports.
According to Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee, this amount climbed by 16.3 percent from the same period in 2022.
Meanwhile, 71.8 percent of these services were delivered to the public.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan's mobile communication services generated 1.1 billion manat ($640 million), accounting for 36.1 percent of total telecommunications market revenues.
However, according to the 2022 statistics, revenues from mobile communication and information services climbed by 14.8% (358.6 million manat ($210.3 million)) compared to 2021, totaling more than 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion).
