ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 7. Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yersayin Nagaspayev, held a meeting with Anton Chudayev, President of POMA CIS, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the implementation of infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan, including the localization of production and technology transfer, as well as the development of tourism clusters and the introduction of cable and light transport systems in cities.
“The French company holds a leading position in the global market for cable-driven lift systems and implements infrastructure solutions for mountainous, tourist, and urban areas,” the press service reads.
The minister underscored the organization's profound proficiency
and articulated a keen interest in forging a sustainable
collaborative alliance.
The Kazakh contingent has unequivocally affirmed its preparedness
to extend governmental backing, encompassing initiatives aligned
with public-private partnership paradigms, tourism enhancement
strategies, and mechanisms associated with special economic
zones.
POMA, operating under the corporate designation Pomagalski S.A. and
occasionally identified as the Poma Group, is a French entity
specializing in the engineering and production of cable-propelled
transport solutions. Their portfolio encompasses a diverse array of
systems, including both fixed and detachable chairlifts, gondola
lifts, funicular railways, aerial tramways, people movers, and
surface lift mechanisms. Poma has successfully deployed
approximately 7,800 systems across a diverse portfolio of 750
global clientele.
