BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. The exports of non-oil products from southern Iran's Bushehr Province increased by 3 percent in value and 2 percent in weight during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023), Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, a total of 15.6 million tons of products worth $5.89 billion were exported from Bushehr Province during the six months.
Soleimani added that petrochemical products, cement, fish, shrimp, and vegetables were mainly exported from Bushehr Province.
The official stated that the products are mainly exported to China, UAE, India, Brazil, Pakistan, Türkiye, Oman, Taiwan, Qatar and Sri Lanka.
To note, Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion during the six months. Compared to the same period last year, the export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight.
