BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 12.​ Iran's non-oil exports to Azerbaijan during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through February 18, 2025) have increased by over 13.4 percent in value and 12.8 percent in weight compared to the same period in the previous Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through February 19, 2024).

Data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Customs Administration indicates that non-oil exports from Iran to Azerbaijan during this period were valued at $635 million and amounted to 799,000 tons.

The analytics indicate that during the corresponding timeframe in the previous fiscal year, the non-petroleum export metrics from Iran to Azerbaijan were appraised at $560 million, encompassing a volume of 708,000 tons.

The principal export commodities from Iran to Azerbaijan encompass a diverse array of agricultural outputs, consumables, and manufactured industrial artifacts, alongside an assortment of petrochemicals and chemical derivatives.

Additionally, the total trade volume between Iran and Azerbaijan during these eleven months reached $664 million, totaling 811,000 tons. This marks an increase of over 10.3 percent in value and 11.7 percent in weight compared to the previous year’s corresponding period.

Iran's Customs Administration data shows that the country's total exports of non-oil products amounted to 141 million tons worth $53.4 billion during 11 months. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 19 percent in value and 12.6 percent in weight.
