The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) increased by 1,726.61 points (1.25 percent) to end the trades at 140,309.2 on Aug. 27.
According to the TSE official website, about 2,468 million shares valued at $180 million were traded for the day.
The trading value registered a rise by 20 percent, while the volume increased by 41 percent compared to the preceding day.
The Price Index (TEPIX) increased by 505.06 points (1.25 percent) to post 41,040.7.
The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) increased by 1,503.42 points (1.47 percent) to 104,013.4.
The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) increased by 2,330.21 points (0.85 percent) to post 276,341.2.
The Industry Index increased by 1,711.76 points (1.35 percent) to post 128,959.8.
TSE 30 Index gained 112.22 points (1.63 percent) to close at 6,982.8.
TSE 50 Index gained 86.93 points (1.44 percent) to end at 6,143.4.
Isfahan Oil Refining Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company, Ghadir Investment Holding and Tehran Oil Refining Company were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
Meanwhile, MAPNA Group, Iran Telecommunication Company, Dadeh Gostar-e Asr-e Novin (HiWeb), Iran Khodro and Omid Investment Management Company had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.
